His professional career in art began with portraiture in 1972 to support his wife and two children. Since 1976, he has devoted his work to rendering landscapes, particularly forest scenes in style ranges from contemporary to traditional impressionism. Juan’s work has been advertised in “Architectural Digest,” and “Southwest Art Magazine” and he was commissioned by the Yosemite Fund Foundation in 1988.
