Join the celebration as Palo Alto Festival of the Arts returns on August 27 & 28 from 10:00AM - 6:00PM along tree-lined University Ave. Discover imaginative works of art created by talented artists while browsing 300 displays showcasing eye-catching designs in jewelry, glasswork, sculpture, mixed media, paintings and more at this year’s exciting festival. Meet Andy Byrne of Andy Welds presenting his creative expressions in metal sculpture. Andy relies on his interest in and experience with a wide range of media and methods to construct his art pieces. Because of its permanence, he is inspired by metal as the material for his work. Using scrap metal in an untraditional manner, Andy builds interesting and provocative pieces out of simple components based on design elements derived from his fascination with geometry (Euclidian and Fractal). Discover the exceptional beauty of handcrafted items of art and décor for the home, office and gift giving at the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts, August 27 & 28 from 10:00AM - 6:00PM.
