Shop handcrafted works from small businesses! Meet Garret Goto with GMG Woodcrafts at the Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival, July 9 & 10 from 10am-6pm. GMG Woodcrafts are projects sourced, designed, and crafted by Garrett Goto in Santa Cruz, California. Garrett inherited his interest in woodworking from his grandfather, Carl Kawamoto, an accomplished carpenter in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the last few years, Garrett’s projects have ranged from basic furniture to cutting boards, spearguns, chessboards, book ends, dice, dominos, and knife handles. His curiosity continues and he is ever pursuing new woodworking projects, styles, tools, and techniques. Each project is carefully planned with wood type, workability, functionality, and grain pattern in mind. Visit Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival, get to know the artists and learn the stories behind each piece they make. Visit us at pacificfinearts.com to learn about upcoming events.
