Shop handcrafted works from small businesses! Meet Cory Ballis of Ballis Glass at the Ironstone Wine & Art Festival on June 11 & 12 from 10am-5pm Saturday & Sunday. Cory Ballis was born into a family of accomplished artists and was fortunate to be raised in an environment surrounded by art. In 2005 he found his true passion taking an elective class in Blown Glass. He graduated from California State University, Fresno earning a degree in Business Marketing. Cory travels through the Western United States selling art work at various galleries and fine art shows; most recently focusing on his functional drinkware and other limited production pieces. It has been a wonderful and also terrifying journey, making a living as an artist, but he wouldn’t trade it for anything. Get to know the artists and learn the stories behind each piece they make.
