Shosha Creative Indian Cuisine
Last week was the Indian Holi Celebration, so I visited Shosha Indian Restaurant [141 South Murphy Avenue, Sunnyvale]. This restaurant opened last Fall in Downtown Sunnyvale Downtown, and I visited them for their 11 course Holi Celebration.

Shosha is known for a fine dining experience, and creative Indian food. I have a lot of people who have raved about their innovative dishes. Their standard menu is pretty extensive, and so this celebration dinner was a good way to sample a variety of their food.

The menu for this event was specially curated from different regions of India. I was really impressed not only with the quality of the food, but the inventiveness of combining it with other food styles, French and Italian influences on standrad Indian flavors.

Shosha does outstanding plating. They have elevated the visual experience of the food, and we first eat with our eyes. They have a modern presentation of lot of classic Indian flavors. They also pride themselves on interesting, creative cocktails as well as a good mix of innovative appetizers, mains and desserts.
Several courses really stood out: the Chicken Vindaloo with a French plating, the Tandoori Chicken with canopies, and the desserts of Gulab Jamun Cheesecake along with the Puranpolli Canneloni were fantastic.

Overall, it was a fantastic evening of food, drink, dance and music. Shosha plans to have more celebration dinners in the future, so definitely learn more at: http://www.ShoshaRestaurant.com

They have an extensive menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 2:30pm. They are open for dinner from 5:30pm-9:30pm Tuesday through Sunday, plus staying open a little later until 10:30pm on Friday/Saturday nights. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available.
