Happy Saint Patricks Day! ☘️ ☘️ ☘️ Two years ago when we started the shelter-in-place, I went to Fibbar MaGees to enjoy a corned beef sandwich and highlight all the Murphy Avenue restaurants that were OPEN for takeout. That started my Sunnyvale Mayor’s Restaurant Project that became http://www.EatSunnyvale.com Two years later, Downtown Sunnyvale is a LOT different, with tons of outdoor (and indoor) dining. There are a lot of Sunnyvale’s restaurants that have Irish specials today: Fibbar MaGees, Scruffy Murphy’s and Murphy's Law Irish Pub and Sports Bar to point out some favorites. All are having St Patrick’s Day specials today Come by for some fantastic Irish food (lots of corned beef and potatoes being served), maybe have a Guiness or you can request a green tinted beer, and enjoy the music (via speakers and LIVE later tonight). This will bring the celebration to Historic Murphy Avenue for the rest of the day. Today, I ordered my annual St Patrick’s Day special corned beef sandwich, fries and glass of Guinness from Fibbar MaGee’s.
