This French shabby chic bottle is a blend of baroque glamour and rustic charm. French shabby chic is a bohemian movement that has become one of the most in demand styles. It was created to give a distressed look. The 101/2 inch square bottle was painted with sheepskin colored chalk paint and hand distressed to give it an antique look. This is a recycled vintage apple bitters bottle from the 1960s. Rice paper, showing a bouquet of flowers, was decoupaged onto the bottle. Adornment of pearls, ribbon and cream colored paper flowers were used as embellishments. Lace and filigree clay pieces were added to create a vintage distressed look. The bottle is a new addition to the Illusionary Art Collection by FosterInk.
